A NEW CHAPTER FOR ELAC FACULTY

Classroom and Non-Classroom Faculty

Leadership rooted in respect and collaboration.

Why I’m Running

ELAC faculty deserve a union culture grounded in respect, transparency, and collaboration.

As a Department Chair, I have spent years listening to colleagues, solving problems, and advocating for my department. My experience as chair has required bringing people together, collaborating across perspectives, and ensuring that our contract is followed fairly and consistently.

I am running for AFT 1521 Chapter President to represent all members and to advocate for faculty rights, working conditions, salaries, and benefits. I believe we can restore the spirit of trust that makes our union stronger.

Together we can begin a new chapter for ELAC faculty.

Leadership Priorities

  • Respect for All Faculty
Supporting classroom faculty, non-classroom faculty, and adjunct colleagues with fairness and representation.
  • Transparent Communication
Clear information, open conversations, and leadership that listens to faculty voices across departments.
  • Strong Advocacy
Protecting working conditions, salaries, benefits, and contract rights for all members.
